Trump Admin Must Address QPA Methodology After Biden Extended Enforcement Discretion

The onus is now on the Trump administration to figure out how to revise a key factor used to determine the winner in a payment dispute under the No Surprises Act, after the Biden administration before leaving office granted enforcement leniency through Aug. 1 for health plans that make a good faith effort to calculate the qualified payment amount for a service while the legal challenge to the QPA methodology plays out.
