The Supreme Court is seemingly poised to examine the boundaries of state violations under the Medicaid Act, which requires states ensure Medicaid patients are can get care from “any qualified provider” willing to offer it, as a result of its recent dismissal of a Planned Parenthood case and a petition for lower courts to reexamine lawsuits related to highly politicized health care services.
