State Regulators Want Answers From CMS On Hospitals Exiting MA Plans

CHICAGO -- State insurance regulators have been wrestling with how to protect residents who enroll in a Medicare Advantage plan that is no longer accepted by a hospital in their area and plan to demand guidance from HHS after a department official failed to attend the National Association of Insurance Commissioners’ Senior Issues Task Force session during the group’s annual meeting last month.
