A coalition of stakeholders including the Pew Charitable Trusts, Aetna, American College of Cardiology and Geisinger Health System wrote to FDA Commissioner Scott Gottlieb and CMS Administrator Seema Verma Wednesday (May 16) urging the newly minted agency heads to embrace the idea of putting unique device identifiers in claims.
