Stakeholders Criticize HIPAA Cybersecurity Proposal, Call For Updates

Major trade associations -- including the American Medical Association, Electronic Health Record Association and AHIP -- called for the Trump administration to update or rescind proposed Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) cybersecurity requirements put forward by the Biden administration.
