CMS on Monday (June 10) opened a federal public comment period on South Carolina’s request to join other conservative states in adding work requirements to their Medicaid programs. The 1115 waiver application seeks permission to implement an 80-hour-a-month work requirement for some able-bodied adults as a condition for staying on Medicaid.
