‘Skinny’ Health Package Scales Back Doc Fix, Adds CHC Funding

Lawmakers on Sunday (March 3) released the text of a long-awaited health care spending package that features a 1.68% payment increase to Medicare physician pay, partially mitigating a 3.4% cut that kicked in Jan. 1, and a 1.88% increase to Advanced Payment Model (APM) bonuses, both of which will increase spending by $730 million.
