Short-Term Plan Rule Slated To Be Finalized In April

The Biden administration expects to finalize the draft rule limiting the duration of short-term health plans in April 2024, according to newly released Fall 2023 Unified agenda. The draft rule, released in mid-July, would reverse a Trump administration rule from 2018 that allowed short-term plans to run for up to three years if allowed by states.
