Senators Reintroduce Bill Focused On Trade Deals Covering Medical Goods

A bipartisan group of four senators on Wednesday reintroduced a bill that would grant the president the authority to negotiate limited trade agreements focused on medical goods. The “ Medical Supply Chain Resiliency Act ” would allow the president to pursue trade agreements with “trusted trading partners” to lower duties for medical goods that contribute to public health and national security, the bill reads.
