Senate Passes Emergency Funding For Providers, Small Businesses

The Senate passed by voice vote an emergency spending package totaling $484 billion, including $75 billion for providers on Tuesday (April 21). The House is expected to vote on the package as early as Thursday morning. In addition to giving $75 billion to providers, the bill would allocate $25 billion for COVID-19 testing.
