Senate Passes COVID-19 Bill, Ensuring Free Tests, Upping Medicaid Match

The Senate passed a second legislative package to tackle the coronavirus pandemic on Wednesday (March 18) that includes provisions to ensure all individuals, including those with private plans, Medicare or Medicare Advantage and Medicaid can access COVID-19 tests at no cost and allow states to cover the uninsured under Medicaid for COVID-19 testing and related medical visits.
