Senate Confirms Stephen Hahn As New FDA Commissioner

The Senate on Thursday (Dec. 12) confirmed Stephen Hahn to be FDA commissioner by a vote of 72 to 18. Senate health committee ranking Democrat Patty Murray (WA) voted against Hahn’s nomination, saying his lackluster response to questions about how he will address the youth vaping epidemic raised red flags.
