Robert F. Kennedy Jr. flubbed basic questions on Medicare during the Senate health committee's courtesy hearing Thursday (Jan. 30) for the HHS secretary nominee, following a Senate Finance Committee session where the leader of the “Make America Healthy Again” movement displayed in-depth knowledge about chemicals that may pollute the nation’s food supply and could contribute to the prevalence of chronic disease but a far thinner grasp of the federal health care programs he’d be tasked to oversee.
