Restaurant, Convenience Store Industry Groups Sue To Stop NY Menu Rule

A group of food industry groups are suing New York City to stop its regulation of menu labeling requirements that are set to be enforced by the city next month. The lawsuit argues that the city cannot enforce food labeling regulations that are different from those required by FDA, and that New York City's regulation is preempted by federal law.
