Real-World Evidence Analysis Must Protect Patient Privacy, FDA Says

FDA has finalized guidance for drug sponsors on using real-world evidence in the assessment of investigational and marketed drugs, saying studies using the method must be careful not to selectively exclude relevant data and must protect patient privacy.
