Providers Want To Delay Some Results’ Release Without Info Blocking

The American Medical Group Association says the new information blocking rule is causing patients to receive electronic notices of serious diagnoses before their providers can break that news, and the group is urging the Office of the National Coordinator for Health Information Technology to let providers place temporary holds on certain diagnoses so they can try to deliver the information personally.
