Providers Urge Lawmakers To Move On Bigger Medicare Pay Reforms

Doctors, hospitals and hospices say the House-passed legislation to phase in Medicare sequester cuts and tackle other reimbursement issues needs to be followed up by a longer-term look at how to stabilize the Medicare pay system, but key House committees at press time were mum on any future work -- though more than half of the House earlier this year pushed for broader reforms along with relief for the 2022 cuts.
