Seven lobby groups representing providers for kids and the underserved are making a last-ditch effort to get Congress to renew funding for the Children’s Health Insurance Program and other health care extenders before the legislation gets sucked into a year-end package that could jeopardize the bipartisan deals that have been struck on those programs.
