President Donald Trump and Senate health committee Chair Bill Cassidy (R-LA) are calling for a return to the House proposal to freeze Medicaid provider taxes after the Senate parliamentarian nixed senators’ plans to reduce how much states can use to inflate their Medicaid contribution -- but Sens. James Lankford (R-OK), Josh Hawley (R-MO), Rick Scott (R-FL) and Jim Justice (R-WV) told reporters Thursday (June 26) senators haven’t yet decided how to respond to the parliamentarian’s ruling on provider taxes.
