Proposed Home Health Rule Would End Pre-Payment Requests

CMS on Thursday (July 11) proposed phasing out pre-payments for home health services in an effort to reduce Medicare fraud, laid out its plan to implement a new home infusion benefit in 2021, and proposed allowing therapist assistants to perform maintenance therapy.
