PhRMA Says Plans/PBMs Benefit From Drug Bill; PBMs Say PhRMA Wins

Drug makers and pharmacy benefit managers offered very different accounts of the winners and losers in the Medicare drug price negotiation deal that Democrats struck Tuesday (Nov. 2): the Pharmaceutical Research and Manufacturers of America says that insurance companies and pharmacy benefit managers won, and the Pharmaceutical Care Management Association says PhRMA won.
