House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) on Thursday (Sept. 19) unveiled her long-awaited government price negotiation plan, which would give HHS the power to negotiate drug prices that would apply to all payers. A summary of the final bill largely resembles a draft plan leaked on Sept. 9, but there is at least one key difference: The updated bill directs HHS to negotiate prices on drugs without generic or biosimilar competition while the earlier draft called for price negotiation on drugs...
