OMB Reviewing Final Insurer Price Transparency Rule

The White House Office of Management and Budget is reviewing a final price transparency rule that would require insurers to develop and publish machine-readable files of their negotiated rates to improve price transparency. The final rule arrived at OMB on Sept. 11 and comes from a July 2019 executive order signed by President Donald Trump.
