The White House is now reviewing two proposed rules on the independent dispute resolution (IDR) process created by the No Surprises Act that experts expect will address, among other things, numerous provisions that were thrown out by Judge Jeremy Kernodle of the U.S. District Court of the Eastern District of Texas who ruled in favor of the Texas Medical Association (TMA) in four separate lawsuits over the Biden administration’s implementation of the IDR process.
