The National Institutes of Health (NIH) will seek public comment through July 15 to help shape its first-ever artificial intelligence strategic plan, which will guide AI research funding and initiatives at the agency for years to come, along with a one-year AI action plan, NIH Principal Deputy Director Matthew Memoli announced at the Coalition for Health AI (CHAI)’s Leadership Summit Thursday (June 5).
