NIH, FDA Join Forces To Research Nutrition’s Role In Chronic Disease

The National Institutes of Health and FDA announced Friday (May 9) they will team up to investigate how ultra processed food, food additives, and maternal and infant dietary exposures contribute to chronic diseases -- and use the findings to craft a comprehensive nutrition research agenda that will drive food and nutrition policies under HHS Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr.’s Make America Healthy Again agenda.
