NCPA To Senate: Include Pharmacy-Friendly Provisions In Health Bill

The Senate version of the American Health Care Act should include at least the protections of pharmacy access guaranteed by the Affordable Care Act, said B. Douglas Hoey, CEO of the National Community Pharmacists Association, in a May 10 letter to Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-KY). The group represents small, independent rural or urban settings often heavily reliant on Medicaid or Medicare Part D funding.
