NAIC Urges Senate Leadership To Change Or Delay Exchange-Related Policies

State insurance commissioners warn Senate leadership that the marketplaces could be disrupted as early as next year due to numerous provisions in the House-passed reconciliation bill that would increase premiums and make it more difficult to enroll in Affordable Care Act coverage -- a problem when combined with the failure to extend the enhanced ACA tax credits they warn would have a prolonged negative impact on stakeholders.
