The National Association of Insurance Commissioners (NAIC) on Wednesday (July 12) told Senate leadership the group opposes the Senate health bill's plan to allow entities to establish federally-certified “small business health plans,” saying that those plans would undermine the state-regulated small business market as well as consumer protections.
