NAIC Backs Alexander-Murray Deal, Pledges Assistance As Needed

The National Association of Insurance Commissioners (NAIC) expressed support for the bipartisan deal crafted by Senate health committee Chair Lamar Alexander (R-TN) and ranking member Patty Murray (D-WA), praising the lawmakers in a Friday (Oct. 20) letter for including many of the commissioners' recommendations, including funding he cost-sharing program and changing some 1332s requirements.
