Moderna Says Lower-Dose Booster Could Bolster Global Vaccine Supply

In briefing documents posted ahead of FDA’s Oct. 14 vaccine advisory committee meeting, Moderna says a third shot, or booster dose, of its COVID-19 vaccine should be authorized at a dosage lower than that of the company’s primary two-dose regimen so as not to hamper global vaccination efforts.
