Congress’ Medicare payment advisors Thursday (June 13) released an annual report that examines several ideas for reforming Medicare physician pay, including relying more on medical inflation, discusses provider networks and use of prior authorization in Medicare Advantage, assesses MA encounter data and considers several options for lowering pay for certain conditions in inpatient rehabilitation facilities.
