The Kansas House of Representatives on Thursday (March 21) approved a modified version of Democratic Gov. Laura Kelly’s plan to expand Medicaid under the Affordable Care Act. Expansion has bipartisan support in the Kansas legislature and is being promoted aggressively by grassroots activists, but the plan faces procedural hurdles in the Kansas Senate.
