Maryland residents at risk of losing their exchange coverage due to non-payment have been granted temporarily relief by the state’s insurance administration, GOP Gov. Larry Hogan announced Wednesday (Aug. 5). Insurers are now banned from terminating ACA-compliant individual and family plans sold through the Maryland Health Connect until at least Sept. 30.
