The deadlock over Medicaid expansion in Maine continues as the state’s legislature on Monday (July 9) fell short of overriding Republican Gov. Paul LePage’s veto of a bill that would have funded Maine’s share of expansion costs. Eighty-five lawmakers voted to override the veto and 58 voted to uphold it.
