Lawmakers are planning to unveil a bipartisan bill soon that would fully offset the 2.8% Medicare reimbursement cut that took effect this month and boost physician payments by 2.5%, according to the American Medical Association (AMA), which hopes the proposal can be attached to Congress’ spending package in mid-March.
