Kennedy Jr. signaled he’s open to reconsidering the administration’s plan to eliminate CDC’s Safe Motherhood and Infant Health program, which collects and analyzes data to help prevent pregnancy-related deaths, in an exchange at last Tuesday’s (June 24) House Energy & Commerce Committee hearing on the president’s HHS budget request.
