Johnson & Johnson First Drug Maker To Put List Prices In TV Ads

Johnson & Johnson announced Thursday (Feb. 7) that it would be the first drug maker to disclose list prices in its television advertisements, the Associated Press first reported. The company said it would put list prices and typical out-of-pocket costs in commercials for its blood thinner, Xarelto, starting in March. In October, HHS proposed forcing drug makers to disclose list prices for drugs that Medicare and Medicaid purchase . The administration’s plan would depend on companies to sue each other...
