IPAB Not Expected To Be Triggered Soon As Health Spending Slows

The Independent Payment Advisory Board will not be triggered this year, despite the Medicare Trustees’ prediction last year that it would be, and the threat of the board becoming a reality is gone for the foreseeable future, according to the Medicare Trustees annual report on the state of the Medicare trust fund.
