House Passes Bipartisan Continuous Drug Manufacturing Bill

The House on Tuesday (Oct. 19) voted 368 to 56 to pass a bipartisan bill aimed at strengthening the United States’ drug supply chain by investing in so-called continuous pharmaceutical manufacturing. H.R. 4369, National Centers of Excellence in Advanced and Continuous Pharmaceutical Manufacturing Act, would require that FDA establish so-called national centers of excellence to help spur the development of continuous drug manufacturing.
