The House Judiciary Committee unanimously approved two bills aimed at fighting drug companies’ misuse of patents. The bills are similar to Senate legislation introduced by John Cornyn (R-TX). The patent bills passed by the House Judiciary Committee Wednesday night (Nov. 20) are not included in House Democrats’ drug pricing package, and Cornyn’s legislation is not part of the Senate’s bipartisan drug pricing package.
