House E&C To Consider Five Medicaid Bills, Leaves Out Nursing Home Staffing Bill

The House Energy & Commerce Committee is scheduled to consider Thursday (June 13) three bills meant to crack down on fraud in Medicaid and one that would streamline Medicaid enrollment for providers caring for young patients across state lines, among others -- but leaves out several other proposals the subcommittee passed last month, including two bills that would counteract CMS’ nursing home staffing minimum rule, temporarily extend Medicare telehealth waivers and reform pharmacy benefit manager practices.
