Rep. Larry Bucshon (R-IN) expressed frustration Wednesday (Dec. 6) that the House Energy & Commerce Committee passed revised legislation that would erase 2.5% instead of 3% of the 2024 Medicare conversion factor cuts under the physician fee schedule -- the same level that passed the Senate Finance Committee -- but others described the legislation as a positive step even though it doesn’t go as far as they would have liked to ease providers’ upcoming cuts.
