House Democrats this week began writing a compromise bill that directs Medicare to negotiate drug prices, according to a lobbyist who spoke to leadership. The Senate is still the driving force behind the legislation; House negotiators believe that Rep. Scott Peters’ (D-CA) recent statement that he is open to negotiation in Part D reflects Sen.
