House CR Would Fund Health Extenders, Delay DSH Cuts Through Nov. 21

A package of so-called health extenders was tucked into the continuing resolution introduced in the House late Wednesday (Sept. 18) to avert a government shutdown Oct. 1. The short-term extenders provisions were negotiated by the Energy & Commerce and Ways & Means committees and would expire, along with the rest of the funding, on Nov. 22, according to House appropriators.
