Hospitals scored big wins in the budget deal passed early Friday morning (Feb. 9) and quickly signed into law, with Congress including many of the industry's long-sought policy proposals and generally shielding hospitals from the offsets used to pay for the package's wide-ranging slate of health care provisions.
