HHS To GAO: Coordinated Drug Shortage Response Ends Next Month

HHS’ department-wide coordination on drug shortages will end in May with the termination of a coordinator position established by former president Joe Biden, and the department doesn’t yet have a new plan for how it will handle the job, HHS told Congress’ investigative arm.
