HHS Extends PREP Act To Pharmacists Administering COVID-19 Therapies

Licensed pharmacists, qualified pharmacy technicians and pharmacy interns can now administer FDA-authorized COVID-19 therapies, including monoclonal antibodies, while being protected from liability under the Public Readiness and Emergency Preparedness Act, HHS announced Thursday (Sept. 9).
