Health care nongovernmental organizations (NGOs) could see their funding cut dramatically following a new presidential directive which claims international organizations are “undermining the national interest.” President Donald Trump issued an executive order Thursday (Feb. 6) that directs agencies to review federal funding for NGOs, which must now align with the administration’s policies and priorities.
