FTC, HHS Probe GPO, Wholesaler Roles In Drug Shortages

The Federal Trade Commission and HHS have launched an investigation into whether the business practices of pharmaceutical chain middlemen like group purchasing organizations (GPOs) and wholesalers are contributing to drug shortages.
